Ionia Sentinel Standard, 1997

Huldah Smith, 94, of Ionia died Thursday at the Thornapple Manor in Hastings. 

She was born June 10, 1903 in Sebewa Township the daughter of Samuel and Lottie
(Daniels) Kauffman.  She married Wayne H. Smith in May of 1925 and he preceded
her in death Jan. 30, 1989.

She is survived by one nephew, Arlo VanHouten of Middleville.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 1997 at
Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa.  There will be no funeral home visitation. 
Arrangements by Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.
