The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, June 28, 1963

Funeral service for Mrs. Clarissa C. Smith, 78, wife of the late Wellington 
Smith, was held Thursday afternoon at LeValley Methodist church.  The Rev. 
Leonard Rowell and Elder Charles Wade officiated.  Mrs. Frank Stout was 
organist and floral assistants were Mrs. William Weisgerber and Mrs. Arthur 
Rumbaugh.

Bearers were Arthur Rumbaugh, Erwin Heator, Wesley Blow, William Larson, 
Clarence Rudd and Howard Hile.

Attending from out of town were Marshall Smith of Miami, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. 
Charles Wade and Lester of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Athol Dygert and family and 
Mrs. Laura Kingsley of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. George Uschuk and family of 
DeWitt, and Mrs. Norene Carpenter of Lake Odessa.
