The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, November 15, 1938

Funeral services for Warner G. Smith, 69, who died at his farm home Friday 
morning, November 11, at 4:45 o’clock, were held Monday afternoon, November 
14, at 2 o’clock at the Myers funeral home on East Main street.  The Rev. R. 
A. Rook, pastor of the St. John’s Lutheran church officiated.  Interment was 
made at the family lot in Easton cemetery.

Mrs. Harvey L. Thompson, accompanied by Mrs. Chandler Haight, Jr., at the 
organ, sang two vocal members.

Bearers were Frank Coy, Charles McKenny, Charles Davis, Harvey DeLine, James 
Gallagher and Hans Nelson.
