Mrs. Addie Bell Smith, 86, died Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 at the Robinson 
nursing home where she has been since March.

Mrs. Smith was born July 7, 1869 in Easton township the daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. George Davis.  She was married in 1890 to Asa Smith.  He died in 1937 and 
one step-son, Vern Smith, died in 1947.

Survivors are one brother, Charles Davis of Ionia and five grandchildren, 
Gerald D. Smith of Ronald township, Alden V. Smith of Muskegon, Wayne C. Smith 
of Ionia, Asa C. Smith of Kearny, N.J. and Mrs. Herschel Lake of Muir.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the Stone-Kauffman 
funeral home.  The Rev. Court O. Adams will officiate and interment will be in 
Easton cemetery.

The family requests that flowers be omitted.
