Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Fri. July 21, 1944

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Myers funeral home 
for Mrs. Emma Smith, 58, whose death occurred Thursday.

Mrs. Smith had lived all her life in Easton township. Her husband died in 1933.

Surviving are eight children, Mrs. Howard Cope, Mrs. Otis Chapin, Mrs. Clarence 
Linderman, Mrs. John Scholtens, Mrs. Thelma Renucci, Ethel, Irena and Ray: two 
sisters, Mrs. Charles Shafer and Julia Slowinski: and three brothers, Robert 
Slowinski, Edward Slowinski and Amil Slowinski.

Rev. George Woolcock, pastor of the First Baptist church will conduct the 
service and interment will be in Easton cemetery.
