Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Tues. June 13, 1944

Miss Jennie Smith, 60, died at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital Tuesday, 
three days after she was admitted. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.

Miss Smith was born in Orleans township, June 8, 1886, and had lived in Ionia 
county since.

Funeral services are to be conducted from the Boynton funeral home on Rich 
street, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with interment in Easton township cemetery. Rev. 
H.S. Ellis of Belding will officiate.

Survivors are one brother, Wesley Smith, of Detroit, and seven sisters, Mrs. 
Marian Rowley, Mrs. Ella Cutler, Mrs. Mary Dumper, Mrs. Hattie Tingley and Mrs. 
Etta Roberts of Ionia; Mrs. Edna Blumley of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Bertha DeLine 
of Belding.
