Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Jan. 6, 1930

Following a long illness, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, wife of A.G. Smith, Hackett 
Street, held at her home ____ Sunday ______.

She was born near Woodard Lake, 82 years ago and spent the greater part of her 
life in the community. Two children preceded her in death. Besides her husband, 
she leaves a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Caroline Sexton of Grand Rapids; three 
grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anna Sawyer, and 
several step children

The funeral services will be held from the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 
o’clock and the interment will take place in the Highland Park Cemetery.
