Edna I. Smith, 102, died Monday morning at Ionia County Memorial Hospital. She 
was Lyons' oldest resident.

She was born Nov. 15, 1895 in Lakeview, the daughter of William and Ida 
(Brockway) Smith.  She was a greaduate of Morley High School, and was an 
attendant at the Old Michigan State Hospital (Riverside).  She married Olin 
Smith in November 1938 and came to Lyons in 1939.

She is survived by her husband, Olin, sons Lewis Ward of Saranac, and Kenneth 
Ward of Portland; daughter Lillian Huiesinga of Rockford; 18 grandchildren and 
11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by the parents and a daughter.

Burial at Palo Cemetery.
