The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, October 30, 1934


Mrs. Josephine Smith, 74, widow of Walter T. Smith, died at her home 642 Union 
street, Tuesday afternoon at 1:45.  She is survived by four children, Mrs. A. 
M. Burnett, of Ionia, Mrs. R. B. Skinner of Long Beach, Cal.; Dr. H. D. Smith, 
of Wayne, Mich., and Max Smith, of Ionia, besides four grandchildren.  Private 
funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Rev. Fr. E. G. 
White will officiate.
