Ionia Standard, 16 Jan 1914

John C. Smith, aged 57, died Sunday morning at 8 o’clock in Berlin township.  He
was the father of Mrs. A.J. Olmstead, 302 High street.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
