Belding Banner-News, 20 May 1971

Funeral services for Clara Barton Smith, 71, of 646 Harrison street were held
May 17 at Huffman Funeral Home.  Mrs. Smith died May 14 at the Extended Care
Facility, United Memorial Hospital at Greenville.  Rev. Wilford Wood officiated
at the services.  Interment was at River Ridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was born June 26, 1899 in Mecosta County.  She was the daughter of
Frank and Clara (Cl??k) Lincoln.  She was married to Burr E. Smith in 1921 at
Stanton.  He preceded her in death in 1970.

Sue is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Maxine) Hicks of Greenville and
Mrs. Kenneth (Wanda) Cogswell of Gaylord; two brothers, Ellsworth Lincoln of ??
and Louis Lincoln of Belding; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
