A. Smith Services Held Funeral services were held from the Hubbardston Methodist church Sunday, April 25th, for George Adelbert Smith, 79, who died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Nathan Sessions, of Fenwick R.F.D. Friday. Rev. Park Newcombe, pastor of the church, officiated at the services which were in charge of the Burns Funeral Home of Carson City. Interment was made in the West Side cemetery of Hubbardston. Mr. Smith was born in Hubbardston June 14, 1868. He went to Minnesota to work in the lumber camps when he was a young man and remained there for 35 years before returning to make his home with his sister in North Plains township, Ionia county, where he died after having suffered a stroke April 17 on the streets of Hubbardston. Mrs. Sessions is his only survivor. ---- Frank Adelbert Smith, son of Andrew and Rosetta Smith was born June 14, 1868 and passed away April 23, 1948. He was 79 years 10 months and 9 days old. He leaves to mourn his passing, a sister, Mrs. Nathan Sessions and friends. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church Sunday afternoon and interment was made in the West Side cemetery in the family lot with his father and mother.
