The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 2, 1940


Funeral services for baby Edgar Joseph Smith who was born dead at 5:30 a.m. 
January 1, 1940, at the Ionia community hospital, the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Bernard Smith of route 2, were held from the Myers funeral home Tuesday 
morning, January 2, at 11 a.m. Interment was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Rev. Fr. 
Henry O. Martin officiated.

Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Smith, and one sister, Yolanda, 
aged 13.
