Peter E. Smith, 29, of Belding, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2004, in 
Belding.  He was born October 29, 1975 in Belmore, Long Island, N.Y., the son 
of Alfred E. and Barbara Smith.

He was preceded in death by his mother.  Peter is survived by his son, Deven 
James Jones, and Deven’s mother, Lois Jones of Orleans; father, Alfred of 
Florida, sisters and brother, Donna Smith, Christine Smith, Daniel Smith, Karen 
Smith, all of Belmore, N.Y., Martha and Jeffery Moorhead of Greenville; and 
many friends in the Belding area.

Graveside funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday at Rest Haven Memory Gardens with 
Pastor William Overton, of Family Life Center Church of God, Belding, 
officiating.  Memorial contributions may be given to a fund for Peter’s son, 
Deven, or to a charity of one’s choice.  Funeral services are entrusted to 
Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
