Mrs. R. A. Smith, 78 years of age, died at her home at 309 E. Center Street
Wednesday night at about 6:30, after a lingering illness of about three years,
having been confined to her bed almost constantly for the past six months.

Mrs. Smith had lived here for the past 15 years and was a member of the Free
Methodist church.  Funeral services will be held at the church Friday afternoon
at 2 o’clock, Rev. Salisbury officiating.  Surviving besides the husband are two
sons, Otto H. of Jamestown, New York and Harry R. of Royal Oak, and one
daughter, Clara R. at home.
