Funeral services for Roy P. Smith, 64, were held November 20 at the Charles M.
Courser Funeral Home.  Rev. Arnold Cromlish officiated.  Interment was in River
Ridge cemetery.

Mr. Smith was born February 4, 1906 at Fallasburg, Kent county.  He died
November 18 at United Memorial Hospital, Greenville.  Mr. Smith resided at 210
East Ellis and had been a lifelong area resident.  He was retired from Extruded
Metals.  He was married to Mildred Mapes May 12, 1929.

He is survived by his wife Mildred; one daughter, Miss Ruth Smith of Gratiot
County; nieces and nephews.
