Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 4 Jun 1960

Funeral service for Lester R. Smith, 37, 367 Peck Lake Road, Berlin township,
who died early Tuesday morning, was conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. at LeValley
Methodist church.  The Rev. J. Lawrence Ward and Rev. Floyd Emshwiller
officiated.  Organist was Mrs. Francis Larson and flowers were in charge of Mr.
and Mrs. John Benedict.  Bearers were Robert Overton, Francis Larson, Gerald
Thompson, Duaine Pinkston, Gerald Cox and Lawrence Hoffman.  Interment was at
Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Relatives attending from away were Marshall Smith of Miami, Fla., Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Wade and Lester of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Dygert and Larry of Grand
Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. George Uschuk of DeWitt, Mrs. Jerry Carpenter and Mr. and
Mrs. Elmo Hoy of Lake Odessa, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jenks and Mrs. Alfred Shaw of
Fenwick.
