Sheridan - Funeral services were held Sunday at Stebbins and Simpson Funeral
Home, Sheridan, for Laura G. Smith, 88, of 101 N. Front St., Belding, who died
Thursday, Nov. 14, 1991, at United Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit.  The
Rev. Kenneth Harger officiated with interment in Woodard Lake Cemetery.  A
lifelong resident of the Ionia and Orleans areas, Mrs. Smith was born July 22,
1903, in Ionia to Roy G. and Melissa Smith Catt.

Her husband, Milton D. Smith, preceded her in death in May of 1976.  She is
survived by a daughter, Glenna Hallett, Kingman, Ariz.; a son and his wife,
Milton J. and Doris E. Smith, Orleans; two grandchildren, Leslie and Jean Smith,
Fenwick, Shirley and Robert Nave, Orleans; a sister, Lorene Comstock, Ionia; 10
great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
