LYONS- Garner Smith, 85, of Lyons died Wednesday morning at 6 o'clock at the 
home of his son, Olin Smith of Lyons.

Mr. Smith was born May 22, 1870, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel G. Smith at 
Vickeryville. He had lived in Lyons for many years and had been ill for five 
years.

Survivors are his son, Olin, of Lyons; one daughter, Mrs. A.W. Morland of 
Hackensack, Minn.; one brother, Burr of Lyons and two sisters, Mrs. Electa 
Herschel of San Carlos, Calif., and Mrs. Earl Livingston of Oklawaha, Fla.
