Ionia County Shoppers Guide, 5 Nov 2005

Eleanor B. Smith, age 79, of Watersmeet, passed away Friday, October 28, 2005 
at Eagle River Memorial Hospital in Eagle River.  She was born in Ionia, 
daughter of the late Archie and Edith (Smith) Mallet.  She graduated from 
Lakeview High School in 1944 and moved to Watersmeet after retirement in 1989.  
Survivors include two daughters: Diana (David) Shank and Susan Osburn, both of 
Lowell; four sons: Roger (Mary) Caudill of Kansas, Howard (Annette) Smith and 
Steven Smith, both of Lowell, Thomas Smith of Watersmeet; 7 grandchildren; 6 
great grandchildren; sister, Marion Maneke of Big Rapids.  Funeral services 
were held November 1 at the Wandersee Funeral Home in Bruce Crossing.
