The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Monday, May 15, 1911


Mrs. Cynthia A. Smith, widow of the late Thomas E. Smith, died Sunday afternoon 
at the residence of Mrs. Alfred Broad, North Jackson street.  Mrs. Smith has 
been living with Mrs. Broad for several weeks past.  The funeral will be 
attended from Mrs. Smith’s residence on North Jackson street, number 364, 
Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock.  Mrs. Smith’s home is the one where Mrs. 
Jarvis Goowin died last week and the funeral will be held there.  Rev. E. E. 
Branch will officiate, and interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
