Man Well Known in Muir Dead at Waldron

News of the death of George Smith, which occurred at his home in Waldron
Thursday night, was received at Muir Friday morning.  Several years ago he was
married to Miss Beatrice Anderson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James D.
Anderson, and by reason of his frequent visits to Muir was well known and very
highly respected.  Soon after the establishment of a rural free delivery he was
appointed a carrier from Waldron, and continued in the service until compelled
to retire . . . [unreadable lines] . . .the home during Mr. Smith’s illness, and
on Saturday Mr. Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Miller will go by auto to attend
the funeral.
