Ionia County News-Thurs. April 7. 1960

MRS. CERETA SMITH
Mrs. Cereta Smith, 55 of 6130 Pollard Ave., East Lansing, died Saturday, March 26,
at a Lansing hospital.

She was born July 8, 1904, and was a resident of Lansing for 11 years.

Surviving are her husband, Herbert A.' 4 daughters, Mrs. Arthur Ball of California,
Mrs. Rollie Teachworth on Belding, Mrs. Donald Lehman of Flint and Miss Roseann Markle of

Lansing: 5 sons, Elmer Goodwin of Lansing, Elton and Brudette Goodwin of Tucson, 
Arizona, Bernard Goodwin of Portland, Michigan and Ivan C. Goodwin of California; 30
grandchildren; 2 step-sons, Herbert L. Smith of Lansing, Edward A. Smith of Battle
Creek; 1 step daughter, Miss Laura Smith of Lansing; 1 sister, Mrs. Iva McCarthy of Flint; 1
brother, Harold Wandel of Lyons.

Funerl services wre held from the Gorsline-runcimann funeral homeon Wednesday, march
30, with Rev. Archie Graham of Mranatha Baptist church of Flint, officiating .
Interment was in Lyons cemetery, Lyons, Michgain
