RICHARD KENNETH SMITH
Richard Kenneth Smith, age 64 of Ionia, passed away July 4, 2016. He was born Jan 
18, 1952 in  Syracuse, NY the son of Frank L. and Beatrice E. (DeWispelare) Smith. 
Richard enjoyed driving his dune buggy and hanging out with his friends. He was a 
member of Ionia Moose lodge.

Richard is survived by his mother, Beatrice Smith of Ionia; special friend, Judy 
of Ionia; nieces and nephews, Kim Craft, Tim Shoen, Amanda Jimenez, Sarah Meyers 
and Rose Smith; several great nieces and nephews; and a sister, Brenda Shoen of 
Ionia.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, David Smith.

A Celebration of life will be celebrated at the Ionia Moose Lodge on Monday, Aug. 
22, from 2-4 PM. Online condolences mat be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com
