H. YVONNE SMITH 1926-2017
H. Yvonne Smith, 90, of St Clair, died Saturday, March 25, 2017.

She was born March 26, 1926, in Ionia, Michigan to the late Leo James and 
Sarah Luella Smith.

Yvonne earned her teaching degree from Central Michigan University and her 
occupational therapy degree from Western Michigan University. She worked four 
years as a physical education teacher and spent the rest of her life working 
with cerebral palsy children.

She was a member of Marysville Methodist Church, the Friends of Marysville 
Library, Child Study Group and was a volunteer driver for the St. Clair 
County Council on Aging for seven years She enjoyed reading, family 
activities and keeping in touch with her friends.

She is survived by her niece, Kayla (Ken) Vineyard; and three nephews, 
Douglas Smith, Greg (Barbara) Smith and Scott Smith. She was preceded in 
death by two brothers, Robert Lewis Smith and James Richard Smith and her 
niece, Gay Lynn Caldwell.

A private service will be held in Wayne, Michigan.
