RICHARD J. SMITH of Portland
Died May 10, 2017-age 91
Born July 21, 1925 to Nicholas and Rose (Pohl) Smith.
Retired from General Motors as a tool and die maker.
Lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fourth Degree, Fr. Godez 
Assembly of the knights of Columbus, a past Grand Knight of the Portland 
council #2168.
Survived by 4 daughters, 9 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, sister, 
brother-in-law & sister-in-law.
Dick now joins in wife of 62 years, Betty (Knapp) Smith, brother and 2 
sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic 
Church, May 13, 2017 with Rev. Larry King Celebrant.
Rite of committal at Portland Cemetery  will follow.
Visitation  Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.
Rosary to be prayed at 7:30 p.m Friday.
Memorial contributions to the family to be dispersed to Dick's chosen 
charities.
