Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Jan. 8, 1968

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Smith, 83, will be at Boynton funeral home 
Wednesday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Robert McComb officiating. Interment will be in 
River Ridge cemetery in Belding.

Mrs. Smith of 2128 South State road died at Ionia County Memorial hospital 
Sunday morning after a lengthy illness.

Born in Alpena, April 13, 1884, she was the daughter of Frederick and Tina 
Wilcheling. April 6, 1921 she was married in Ionia to Guy Smith at the 
Presbyterian Manse and lived the past 47 years in Ionia, 21 years at her present 
address. She was a member of the church and life member of Queen Esther chapter 
of OES.

She leaves her husband Guy and three grandchildren; her daughter Phyllis and son 
Vernon, preceded her in death.
