OBITUARY OF GEORGE W. SMITH

George W. Smith was born at Dallas, Penn., March 13, 1845, and departed this 
life at his home at Lake Odessa Nov. 16, 1921.

He was united in marriage to Rosa A.McFee October 4, 1868, at their home in 
Pennsylvania, after which they came to Michigan. To this union were born nine 
children, two dying in infancy.

Besides his wife he leaves to mourn his departure seven children, 17 
grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs.Susie Skidmore of 
Beuchanan, Mich., and Mrs.Lydia Aldrich of Jackson, Minn., besides a host of 
other relatives and friends.
                             CARD OF THANKS
We desire to express our thanks to the neighbors and friends for their 
assistance and sympathy and to those who sent flowers, including the Odd 
Fellows, Rebekahs, Lady Maccabees and Cheerful Helpers Club at the time of the 
illness and death of our husband and father.
