Lake Odessa Wave - Thursday June 18, 1964

Services held for Mrs.Louise Smith

Mrs. Louise Smith, 88, passed away Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter 
Mrs.Arthur Statsick, route 3, Lake Odessa. She was a lifelong resident of this 
area and was born in Odessa township, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Garlinger. 
Her husband John, passed away June 2, 1934. Mrs.Smith was a member of the 
Lakewood EUB church and the WSWS of the church.

Surviving besides the daughters Mrs.Arthur (Laura) Statsick  is a son Harold; a 
grand daughter Mrs. LaVerne (Joanne) Jackson, and a great grand son, all of 
rural Lake Odessa.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 3:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with 
burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev. Charles Nesseth officiated.
