SMITH, DALE CARTER:
   SENTINEL-STANDARD, Ionia, MI:
1) 1-31-1986:  "Area obituaries - DALE C. SMITH - IONIA - Dale C. Smith, 38, of
1197 Yeomans Street, Ionia, died early Thursday in Blodgett Memorial Medical
Center, Grand Rapids.
   Born in Ionia June 12, 1947, he was the son of Wayne C. and Isabelle F.
(Treynor) Smith.  He attended Ionia Public Schools and was employed by E. B. I.
Breakthru Inc. of Lake Odessa.
   Surviving are his father; a sister, Mrs. John (Caroline) McKinnon of
Greenville; a brother, Harry W. Smith of Ionia; two nieces and two nephews.  He
was preceded in death by his mother on Oct. 27, 1984.
   Funeral services will be held from Montgomery-Leddick Funeral Home Saturday
at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating.
   The family will be at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
   A memorial has been established for E. B. I. Breakthru Inc. in care of the
funeral home."

2) 2-14-1986:  "CARD OF THANKS - WE WOULD like to thank Dr. Gregory Anderson,
Montgomery-Leddick Funeral Home, Pastor Ken Harger, Bonnie Albert, and all who
were so kind at the time of the loss of our son, brother, and uncle, Dale C. Smith.
   Also thank you to Marion Whitford and Bonnie Albert and all who helped with
the luncheon after the service, and to all who sent cards, food, flowers and
memorials.  Your sympathy and kindness will never be forgotten.  Wayne C. Smith,
John and Caroline McKinnon, Harry W. Smith, Carrie, Mike, Jenny, and David
McKinnon."
