MICHELLE RAE SMITH

LAKE ODESSA-Michelle Rae Smith, 36, of 1059 Emerson, Lake Odessa, died Wednesday 
in Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids.

Born April 26, 1952, in Lansing, she was the daughter of Carl and Mary Lee Bupp 
Lewis. She was graduated from Lakewood High School in 1970, and was married to 
Michael Smith in January of 1971.

Surviving are two daughters, Jodi Lynn and Jessica Leigh Smith, both of Lake 
Odessa; her father and stepmother, Carl and Eva Lewis of Hastings; a sister, 
Mrs.Donald (Lisa) Mantlo fo Lake Odessa; one brother, John C Lewis, also of Lake 
Odessa; a grandmother,Mary Bupp of Lake Odessa and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 P.M from Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa, with the Rev. Bill Ridder officiating.

Burial in Lakeside Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
