SMITH

Judy Carol Smith age 78 of Ionia,MI passed away July 3, 2022. She was born on 
January 21, 1944 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Chester and 
Geraldine (Arnel) Goldner. On April 17, 1967 she married Duane Smith.

Judy loved being a housewife.

She is survived by her husband, Duane of Ionia; children, David (Barbara) Smith 
of Lyons and Carin (Roy) Franks of Ionia; grandchildren, Carl (Katrina) Smith, 
Kaitlynn (Adam) Maxwell, Destin Franks and Kaiden Franks; great-grandchildren, 
Anna, Brittney, Ivan and Evan; sisters, Nancy Baldwin of Belding and Jackie 
(Mark) Sutherby of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian; grandsons, Chris Smith and 
Chris Gallagher and granddaughter, Brittany Franks.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 8th 10 AM at Easton Cemetery.
