                                   SMITH

Bernard Smith, age 90, of Lowell, passed away on Sunday September 25, 2022. 
Bernard was born on July 16, 1932, the son of Francis and Mary (Leece) Smith in 
Lowell.

He loved working on his farm.

Bernard is survived by his sons, Rudy (Lori) Smith of Lowell and Robert (Brenda) 
Smith of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Jaimi (Tim) Scrivener, Hillary (Ryan) 
Fisk, Mark Smith, and Nicholas (Mary) Smith; great-grandchildren, Henry 
Scivener, Lukas Scivener. Emery Fisk, Rylee Fisk, Naomi Smith and Adrianna 
Smith; brother, Emerson Smith, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Edwin(Elaine) Smith and sister-
in-law, Betty Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 1, at Calvary Grace 
Brethren Church in Alto.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral (10 AM-11 AM). 
Interment Bowne Mennonite Cemetery. 

Memorial Contributions may be made to the church.
