Excerpts from Saranac Obituary

                               HOWARD A. SMITH

Died Tuesday, November 1, 2022-age 64 of Lowell.
Born July 16, 1958 in Grand Rapids, son of Howard C. and Eleanor (Bacon) Smith.
Attended Saranac Schools graduating in Class of 1976.
Married Annette M. Keesee September 4, 1976.
Howard loved to hunt and fish & enjoyed assembling puzzles & working on 
crossword puzzles.
He also enjoyed spending time with his buddies at "his" home/man cave watching 
Red Wings & Westerns & winning bets on the losing Lions, drinking his BPR & 
enjoying a "party favor".
Howard was up front & forward with his opinion.
He adored his wife, children, grandchildren, friends & family.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years,Annette Smith of Lowell, Children; Helen 
(Mike) Carigon of Saranac,& Eric (Stephanie) Smith of Ada, Grandchildren; 
Madison, Tyler & Makenzie Smith,,Sister; Diana (Dave) Shank of Lowell. Sister-
in-law; Joan Fink of Sand Lake & brother & sister-in-law, Rick & Lorraine Keesee 
of Wayland. Several nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roger, Steve, Tom, Sister Susan & 
niece Erin Osburn.
Memorial services on Monday, Nov. 7,, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Becky Poor 
Officiating.
Visitation  be at the funeral home 1 hour prior to service.
