                                  SMITH

Gladys E. Smith, of Pewamo passed away peacefully with her children and 
grandchildren at her side on May 10, 2008 at the age of 73. She is the proud 
mother of: Shirley (Jack) Proctor of Lyons, Kevin (Annette)Klein of Council 
Bluff, Iowa and Bruce (Adela Ray) Klein of Eaton Rapids; Stepchildren; Margaret 
(Rick) Walczybock of Shelby Township, Mi.,David (Martha Burgoyne) Smith of 
Chandler, AZ, Tim (Stacey) Smith of Hamilton, MI and Karen (Dan) Karachy of 
Zeeland, MI.;A combined total of 26 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 
sisters; Alice (Herm) Klein of Pewamo, Doris (Ray) Stanley of Lansing, Eileen 
(Ken) Trierweller of Eagle, and Connie (Dennis )Carr of Charlevoix. 

The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by the Rev. Charlon O.Mason, Pastor, 
Wednesday, May 14, at St.Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo. Rite of Committal will 
follow at St.Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Pewamo. Arrangements are entrusted to 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland.
