Hasting's Reminder - Sat. December 28, 2024

Elaine Marie Smith, age 78, of Lake Odessa,MI passed away on Sunday, December 
22, 2024.

Elaine was born on February 22, 1946 in Lake Odessa,MI to Calvin and Stella 
(Carter) Smith. She was a graduate of Lake Odessa High School. Elaine enjoyed 
family gatherings and the Sebewa Community Club. She was very skilled in 
embroidery, creating many beautiful pieces.

She leaves behind her siblings, Calvin (Alice) Smith Jr., Tom (Doreen) Smith, 
Donna green, Mary (Ray) Dykhouse, along with many nieces nephews, great nieces 
and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Marilyn,Kenneth, Carlton, 
Beverly Roger and Della, in-laws, Doris, Darlene, Ethelynne, Clayton,Kay, Mike 
and Doug.

Visitation is planned for Thursday,Dec.26,2024, from 11 a.m. until time of 
service at 1 p.m. at Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. Burial will take place 
at Woodland Memorial Park immediately following.

Donations in Elaine's name can e made to the Life Enrichment program at 
Thornapple Manor.
