The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, October 25, 1935
Mrs. George Smith, 54 of 2115 (illegible) avenue Grand Rapids died Wednesday 
within a few minutes after she was stricken with a heart attack while parking 
her car here near the Masonic temple.

Mrs. Smith, formerly Marie Endres, is the daughter of George Endres Sr. 
Hackett street Ionia.  She moved to Grand Rapids 30 years ago after her 
marriage to George Smith, a Pere Marquette employee.  She is a member of the 
OES and Grand Rapids woman’s club.  

She is survived by her husband and father George Endres, Sister Miss Louise 
Endres, Cleveland, three brothers, Stephen of Grand Rapids, George Jr. of 
Lansing, and Arthur Endres, Detroit.

Funeral services will be in Grand Rapids Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
