The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, July 29, 1967
Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Smith, 89, former Ionia resident, will be 
Tuesday at 11 am. at Myers funeral home.  Interment will be in Highland Park 
cemetery.  

Mrs. Smith died Friday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur 
Rawling in Traverse City.  She was born October 27, 1877 in Pewamo, the 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Freeman.  She was a member of First 
Presbyterian church, and in recent years made her home with her daughter in 
Traverse City.  

Her husband Jesse Smith preceded her in death in 1933.  Besides her daughter 
she leaves two grandchildren and great grandchild.
