Funeral services for Mrs. Rosalia Smith, 71, who died at her home in Portland 
Sunday, July 20, were held Wed., July 23, at St. Patrick’s church, with burial 
in St. Mary’s cemetery, Westphalia.  

Mrs. Smith was born in Westphalia.  She had lived in Portland 18 years.  
Surviving are one son, Charles of Lansing; six daughters, Mrs. Helen Jones and 
Mrs. Irene Hruscik of Lansing, Mrs. Rita Blundy and Mrs. Janette Kramer of 
Portland, Mrs. Marie Taylor of DeWitt, and Mrs. Margaret Wohlfert of 
Westphalia; and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Lennemann of Westphalia and Mrs. 
Isadore Schafer of Pewamo.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Neller Funeral Home in Portland.
