January 6, 1840 and on July 4th 1866 was married to Andrew Smith of Bermington, N.Y. After a short stay in Winona, Minn., they came to Hubbardston in 1868. Two children were born, George A. Smith of Grand Rapids, Minn., and Mrs. Etta Sessions of North Plains township. For over forty years Mrs. Smith was a member of the Hubbardston Methodist Episcopal church. Feeble for many years, she died March 2, at the advanced age of 91 at the home of her daughter. The funeral was from the Sessions home Thursday, March 5, Rev. Floyd N. Drake officiated. Burial was in the West Side cemetery of Hubbardston. The husband, Andrew Smith, died January 31, 1918.
