Timothy A. Smith, 32 of Grand Rapids died Tuesday, December 5, 1995 at the 
Hospice Care Center in Grand Rapids.  He was born June 1, 1963 in Sheridan, 
the son of Leslie L. and Wanda Jane (Luttrell) Smith.  He has been a resident 
of Grand Rapids since 1990 and was formerly of Orleans.  He graduated from 
Ionia High School in 1981 and was a member of GRAC. 

He is survived by his mother, Wanda Jane Smith of Orleans; significant other 
Ronald A. Genther, of Grand Rapids; grandparents Milton and Elaine Smith Jr. 
of Orleans; daughter Tanya Smith of Orleans; sons: Michael and Kevin Smith, 
both of Orleans; brothers, Craig Smith of Orleans and Chris Smith of Belding, 
step-sisters: Sharon (Kevin) VanEtt of Ionia, Nancy (David) Smith of Ionia and 
Carol (Randy) Hoppes of Muir; stepbrothers: Ken (Linda) Cunningham of 
Pinconning, David (Denise) Cunningham of Ionia and Gary (Dawn) Cunningham or 
Muir; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Friday December 8, 1995 at 11 a.m. at the Stebbins 
and Simpson Funeral Home in Sheridan with the Rev. Rolla Timmons officiating.  
Interment will be at Woodard Lake Cemetery and visitation will be Thursday, 
December 7 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral 
home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Greater Grand 
Rapids.
