Dulcye M. Smith, 50, formerly of Lyons, died February 5, 1994 at Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.  She was born February 2, 1944 in Philadelphia the daughter 
of Joe and Dorothy (Armstrong) Lawless.  She attended the Lyons public 
schools.  

Mrs. Smith is survived by three sons, Clifford Smith of Portage, Randy Smith 
and Floyd Smith Jr. both of Kalamazoo; three daughters, Melody Smith of 
Marithon, Fla., Valery Smith of Fulton, Mich., and Becky Curtis of Palo; one 
brother, Gary McClam of Harrisville, Mich.; three sisters, Vicki Carpenter of 
Muir, Toni Simmons of Lyons and Ruby Willard of Ionia; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hull Memorial Chapel with 
elder Michael McLenphen from Kingdom Hall, Ionia, officiating.  Burial will be 
at Lyons Cemetery.  Mrs. Smith’s family will be at the funeral home Wednesday 
prior to the service.
