Ionia Sentinel Standard, 21 Sep 1981

William Harold Smith, 84, of Hubbardston, died Saturday evening at Carson City
Hospital.  He was born April 14, 1897, in Hubbardston, and was a life-time
resident of the area.

He was a veteran of WWI, a member of American Legion Post 182, and a member of
the Hubbardston Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are: one son, David, of Cedar Springs; one sister, Marjorie Smith, of
Grand Rapids; and one grand-daughter.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.
Burial will be in the Westside Cemetery, Hubbardston.  Friends and relatives may
visit the funeral home today from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
