Ionia County Shoppers Guide, 1 Nov 2003

Debra J. Smoes, 49, of Lake Odessa passed away Sunday, October 26, 2003.  
Survivors include her husband, Jerry; children: Holly (Andy) Rose of Lake 
Odessa, Heather (John Jr.) Smoes of Clarksville, and Jay Smith of Lake Odessa; 
2 special grandchildren: Cierra Rose and Morgan Smoes; parents, Ervin (Ellen) 
Trumble Jr. and Shirley (Jim) Cowles; mother in law, Vi Smoes; brother, Doug 
(Shawn) Trumble of Ionia; half sisters, Jody Trumble of Texas and Tracy LaLonda 
of Holland; step brothers: Roger (Yerri) Cowles of Smyrna and Ed (Denise) 
Cowles of Carson City; step sister, Brenda (Chris) Houghton of Smyrna; many  
other loving relatives and friends.  Funeral services were held October 29 with 
burial in Lakeside Cemetery.  Arrangements by Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake 
Odessa.
