Ionia Daily Sentinel - Mon. Dec. 2, 1918

The funeral for John Smurry was held at SS. Peter & Paul's church Monday 
morning at nine o'clock. Rev. Fr. Gabriel officiated and interment was in Mt. 
Olivet cemetery. The bearers were F.W. Wirtz, John Spitzley, John Blazen and 
Frank Mileski. The floral pieces were numerous and beautiful.
