The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 24, 1965
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Farley funeral home in Battle 
Creek for Mrs. Nellie Snelgrove, 87, long-time resident of Ionia.  She died 
May 22 at a Battle Creek hospital following a long illness. She was the widow 
of Harry Snelgrove.  Mr. and Mrs. Snelgrove moved from Ionia to Battle Creek 
following his retirement from Ionia State Hospital.  He died in February 1960 
and for the past five years Mrs. Snelgrove has resided with her nephew and 
family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harris.  Also surviving are a grandson in 
Florida, a niece and nephews.
