The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 26, 1920
A. G. Snell, formerly of Ionia, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Snell, 372 Harter 
street, and brother of Walter Snell, Mrs. Claude Heald and Mrs. Ed. Yeomans, 
of Ionia, died last Friday morning at Jefferson Park hospital, Chicago, Ill., 
as the result of an accident.  Driving on business a week ago last Friday, the 
flagman at the Jefferson street crossing fialed to flag him, the car crashed 
into a passenger train and was jammed between the train and the fence.  
Funeral services were held this afternoon at his home in Oak Park, Ill.
