The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, May 14, 1929

Mrs. George Snell, 78, died at her home, 472 Harter street, Monday after 
suffering a stroke two weeks ago.  Funeral services will be held from the 
residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Interment will be made in the 
Easton cemetery.

Mrs. Snell was born in Powilson, Ark., but came to Galesburg with her parents 
when a child.  She had been a resident of Ionia county for 59 years and a 
resident of Ionia for 25 years. Mr. Snell died nine years ago.

Mrs. Snell leaves the following children:  Mrs. Samuel Keiler, Mrs. E. S. 
Yeomans, and Walter Snell, Ionia; Eugene Snell, Keene; Mrs. C. W. Head, 
Pomona, Cal.; Miss Clara I. Snell, of Washington, D.C.
