Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 24 May 1920

George Snell, aged 76, died at his home at 372 Harter street Sunday noon after
two weeks of sickness, though he had been failing all winter, and had been in
poor health for several years.  Mr. Snell moved to Ionia about fourteen years
ago, after spending more than 50 years on his farm in Easton, to which he came
with his parents when a very small boy.  Besides his wife he leaves six children
to survive him, Mrs. S.M. Keller of Jackson, Mrs. E.S. Yeomans of Easton, Eugene
Snell of Saranac, Mrs. C.W.Heald of Easton, Walter F. Snell of Ionia, and Miss
Cora S. Snell of Washington, D.C.  The funeral will be held on Wednesday morning
at 10:30 at the home at 372 Harter street, Rev. Branch officiating.  The
interment will be in the Easton cemetery.
