The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, August 19, 1969
Mrs. Elta C. Snell, 87, of 456 Rice died at Ionia Manor Tuesday.  She was a 
patient there ten weeks.  Born December 9, 1881 in Easton township she was the 
daughter of Fred and Cora Currier Gould.  Married to Eugene Q. Snell, February 
18, 1904 in Easton township, he died December 25, 1967.

She was a member of Methodist church of Ionia.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ward Williams of route 2, Belding; Mrs. 
Richard Dingman of Durand; two sons, Leonard of River Rouge and Latham of 
Ionia; seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; one brother, Glenn 
Gould of Belding.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 pm at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  
Interment will be at Easton cemetery.
